Cream kitchen worktops anyone?

Options
I've trawelled the net, the brochures and the shops.
All searches lead to white or grey or speckled.
I just want some the colour of clotted cream but it seems not possible.
Does anyone know where I should start looking please?

    What material do you want?

Being colourblind I'm not the best one to advise but there are various options described as "cream" or "beige" plus plenty more in the offwhite categories that look fairly similar to that to me if you're happy with laminate or other synthetic materials (inc "quartz")

I don't understand the materials much. It all got away from me after chipboard.
I know the expensive stuff for sure.
As long as it;s reasonably hard wearing, it won't get a familly full of knocks, just me preparing food.
I get the word cream come up for sites but it turns out to be white at best. Not even beige
The idea is that this kitchen has decent light oak cupboards that with some complimentary colours would look bright and sunny and country without me having to spend a fortune. I've done the walls, if I do the worktops and floor I can make it look completely different.
It's a big kitchen and the worktops themselves are going to be 3 lengths. Just trying to buck it up without spending a fortune.
At the moment its the original when built 1999 and a blury mix of blue, pink, brown and grey. It looks like a cats been sick and looks dreadful with brown wood. ...... the floor is the same colour :/

We've got a speckled beige. Horrible, can't wait to replace it.

Quartz worktops, such as Silestone https://www.cosentino.com/en-gb/colours/ are available in a variety of colours, including ones that could be described as "cream".

But Quartz isn't cheap.  And it needs specialist fitters.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Really nice - but I can't justify the expense. Thats several trips to the Maldives or a new car.
Slinky interesting. That was my only other option but it wouldn't do anything to improve the overall look. Just stop the overall depressing grey/blue/brown.

  • From an interior design perspective the worktops and floor should be the same/similar colour.  Hope that helps.

Sadly chocoaholic, the floor is the same cat sick blend of colours.....
I can't do the floors till the bathroom is installed some 6months hence as its central.
But thanks for confirming what I'd thought.

Many of the London showrooms are going for matching cabinets and surfaces these days (when all aren’t wood finish). Most are true handless too which to me gives a slightly odd impression that they’re solid blocks, especially with islands or peninsular that they all also have

In 2016 we chose a new kitchen and I remember seeing a few Corian worktops in cream.

We chose a very different colour in a laminate but try googling 'cream corian kitchen worktops' if you haven't already done so.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

First on the list? (I hope it's not what Slinky has!)

These worktops are great. Shop around and you might get them at a good discount - certainly did when mil fitted them a few years back (in black...).
