I will get hold of them tomorrow, il have to find a way of paying it tomorrow. Thank you for all of your help0

Please speak to citizen's advice. Your position is unsustainable and whatever mistakes you made, I cannot believe the courts system in this country would expect you to borrow or go without the basics such as food to pay debts.
May you find your sister soon Helli.

I saw that, I was hopeful when I contacted them. I've tried citizens advice today, my local office is shut due to flooding and the next closest one nearer to me aren't answering the phone. Tried the courts again, got told the same thing as yesterday. Just so low today and really struggling with my mental health. I know I got myself in this position, but I'm trying hard to get myself out of it, in a reasonable plan0

Please as a matter of urgency contact your local mental health crisis team or visit your nearest Accident & Emergency department and tell them you are in mental health crisis and need help. It may even be that they will be able to assist you with getting advice and support on the bailiff issue, but regardless, you need support from trained individuals now.
Don’t offer to pay an amount based on anything other than a sensible budget including paying all your priority bills - rent or mortgage, council tax, heat, light, water and food. Leave something spare for contingencies as well - enough that you could for example get a taxi to a hospital if needed. Work out what you can pay with all that in mind and pay that and no more. Email them saying that you have paid that amount as that is all you can afford. If that amount is as little as £1 a week, so be it, but the key thing is that you pay SOMETHING.All the other great advice here re citizens advice etc most definitely still stands.Further suggestion - get hold of your local MP - social media is often a great way of getting directly to the MP themselves, rather than sing a constituency office where you may just get to a staff member.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Further on this - the token payments suggested by others are the right way to go - do NOT overstretch yourself here. You need to put together your full budget allowing for ALL expenditure, and including a small but sensible budget for things like clothes etc. Ideally then send your token payment to CDER Group by cheque - then either they cash it, which means they have accepted your payment, or they return it, in which case you have tried to pay, they’ve blocked you from doing so. There are also further technical reasons why paying by cheque, if you can, is a good way of doing things. There is an address on their website to pay them by cheque - assuming this is the correct company: https://www.cdergroup.co.uk/contact/make-a-payment/ (apologies - not sure that will be clickable as I can’t use the URL option on my iPad) That might also give you an address to write to.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The repayments are so much more than anyone could reasonably be expected to pay, there is something seriously wrong here. We just don't live in a country (yet) where anyone is expected to make quite so many sacrifices for such a small debt. I hope you get the help you need with your mental health, OP, and once this is all sorted and you're on a reasonable repayment schedule, I'd do as others have suggeted and approach your MP. Cder need to be exposed and cases like this need to never be allowed to happen.
I wish you all the very best.

@newmrsf - I’ve just read through this thread and can’t believe how you have been treated by the courts and cder group. You shouldn’t be put in a position where you can’t afford to eat. I find that outrageous and if you haven’t told them everything you have told us then please write to them and let them know the difficulties you are facingI’ve nothing else to add other than please do as the others have advised and I hope cder group listen and come to a sensible resolution.0

Thank you all. I've been trying to contact citizens advice, can't get through. I've contacted my mp, not heard back yet. I phoned samaritans and had a good chat. I've set up an account with step change and I'm really hoping they can help and will put me on a government scheme called breathing space? Il be calling them tomorrow1

Good, you need to make them aware its a magistrates court fine, which is a priority debt, and about your Mental Health issues.
"The Debt Respite Scheme" (Breathing Space) that came into force on 4th May will give someone, like yourself in problem debt, the right to legal protection from creditor action including High Court enforcement. There are 2 types of breathing space: a standard breathing space and a mental health crisis breathing space.
A standard breathing space is available to any client with problem debt. It gives them legal protections from creditor action for up to 60 days. The protections include pausing most enforcement action and contact from creditors and freezing most interest and charges on their debts.
A mental health crisis breathing space is only available to a client who is receiving mental health crisis treatment. If an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) certifies a client is in mental health crisis treatment, the client or someone else might ask you for a mental health crisis breathing space on the client's behalf. The mental health crisis breathing space has some stronger protections than the standard breathing space. It lasts as long as the client's mental health crisis treatment, plus 30 days (no matter how long the crisis treatment lasts).
