Thanks @badmemory - my shelves I don't think are deep enough for that - but what I have works. DD is keeping about 6 water bottles. I've put them in a bag to underline for her how many she has. I've put about 4 bottles in 'quarantine' while I check whether they are DS's and he wants them. He's been known to spend £15 a piece on them so don't want to encourage him to spend new £ unnecessarily. I've half filled the box I started tonight so happy with that.
I've managed to fit my food processor and the liquidiser in one of the pull out wire rack things - with all the cake cases and tins, loaf tins etc so happy with that. I've put lids on the plastic stuff I'm keeping. If it doesn't have a lid it's going. I still need to finish sorting the second wire basket over the weekend but really happy with my progress.
I then spent 2.5 hours making art and having fun. The cat has wanted a lot of attention tonight not sure why.
I can tell DD is feeling better as she's getting noisier and laughing more which is lovely given she's been ill with the dreaded C19. I think she's probably also relieved she didn't give it me.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

BB - Sounds very disciplined. The only thing I regret letting go of a little were DS's first shoes - although like you I gave them to someone who really needed them. I still have DD's. I have their hospital bands somewhere but not sure where. A few years ago I created some see through folders for DD and DS and gave them to them to sort out what if anything they wanted to keep. Progress. I have some samples of their art - I found a handprint of DD's in my xmas decs which made me smile from when she was tiny. I've kept some of my favourite stories from when my kids were little - like the C & Lola ones and H0rati0 happened under the bed. I have gradually been letting more of my books go from when I was little. Creating little book hampers for the little niece and nephews is helping with that.

Well done for catching up / visiting powerspowers. As you can tell my diary isn't just about paying the mortgage - although if I manage to stop over-buying and sell more it really should help me become MF quicker.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You've moved on, so has your cat hence the change in both of you. They are very loving in the right environment for their needs and obviously the new set up is what your cat wants.
It's still early days and next year I think your diary will be different again as you'll have cleared clutter and fallen into finding a routine.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
So the good news is I have 7 days of negative tests - and DD has tested negative too yesterday and today - so we're now free!! YAY! I was hoping to go out for a meal - but there were no eating slots for walk-ins so getting a takeaway instead. Sharing cost with DD so could be worse.
Hope you are all okay. DD wants me to see if Sis is free for rearranged meal... It would make me finish tidying - or at least hide stuff in the garage!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
