Great summary! I think you know that we also consciously “save” money saved on monthly bills too - it really adds up over time doesn’t it!

Anyone else have Shell BB? It's gone down to speed of less than 3 tonight!!! I am supposed to be on superfast - and it was upgraded outside in the road recently. I only joined them a week or two ago. Will be finding a way to complain when they are open tomorrow. I've just had to use my phone mobile hotspot as it was driving me mad! It said a DVD would take 4hour 54 minutes to download.... Yep that about sums it up!! Really hope it gets sorted soon - it got steadily worse all day!
I'm still debating the other item EH but you are probably right. I've been wrapping more 'found' items (shop from home) today - so very happy with that. Some brand new wood chisels, some brand new cosmetic jewellery, some used books etc.
I lifted something in the shed though and found even more dead bird feathers (from our cat)... Minging... Last time I used Ex's vacuum cleaner to get some of it up but now that's left - it may be a don a mask job and use some kind of shovel and brush - or even wire brush to get them all... Totally gross.
In a weird mood today - but probably not surprising... Not got much done other than updating m finances and trying to find and then wrapping gifts. I've cleaned out a craft box my neighbour gave me. Binned a few items - but debating whether to keep or give away some.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Have you turned the BB router right off and rebooted it? We did find that shell dropped out altogether more often than out previous Sky connection had, but assumed it was just something that fibre did more than copper.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hope your BB has recovered. I'm with BT, and know it's expensive, but it very rarely drops out, and can easily handle all 4 of us on different devices at the same time. I'm not brave enough to switch as it's so much better than anything I've had before."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney3

I've never changed from BT after all the problems we had at work with having different providers. BT always used to blame the others, so they would come out (chargeable) & say definitely BT. It always was but at £600 a time to the other supplier!! I decided I couldn't be bothered with all that fuss. But they always say when we change the hub, usually upgrading, that it takes 10 days for it to settle down & I always say to myself that can't be right, but it is. I do hope that is the case for you.

The ten day thing is a good point, I thought SH was past that point now but she may not be, quite? We recently jumped from Shell to V0d@fone and so far, very impressed, but it *is* recent - only just over a week so too soon for a really good perspective.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks everyone. I think the 10 days is tomorrow EH as they switched over a day late. This morning I turned it off for an hour and restarted my computer - there's been some improvement. Will see if it maintains. I was with Voda before they weren't great either but not as bad as this. I already use a booster... it's supposed to be 44-76 speed.
Waves at HSL too.
I was very excited this morning as I had my first enquiry about one of my paintings - that I'd put on for £95. He's not come back again yet but hopefully he might. I have listed 3 more as a result. I've also listed in a few more FB places. Will let you know if it works. It made me think that @LadyWithAPlan could be right. If I did start to get regular income in from my paintings that would be life changing.
In practice this weekend I've rested - which for me is a miracle. I do want to do some decluttering today - will see how that goes.
Last night I defrosted some chicken - so planning to make a garlic chicken dish and have it with mash potatoes, leeks and carrots later.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
