Pleased you seem to be over the worst of it x4

Thanks MF, Dancing and @Merlin's_Beard
Had a better day. It took me all day but I managed a shower and getting dressed at tea time and put the washing on. After a gap of an hour or two I watered my bedding plants (with the hose) - so progress. If I can sleep tonight - I'm hoping I might be over the worst. My neighbour has given me some tests so I will try the test tomorrow and see what it says. I've promised to buy her some new ones. I tried to get them on my delivery but typically they weren't delivered!
DD has carried on her social life as normal. None of her friends are bothered that she's living with someone who has covid! It fries my brain.
Just put the washing in the dryer - no energy to hang it out. But I'd forgotten to put colour catcher type sheets in the wash and there are some interesting effects!! Ah well. Nothing that mattered... I'll do some more washing tomorrow - and may rewash some things in the hope that it resolves!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sounds like you are heading in the right direction now. Don't forget to rest though as covid really takes it out of you. Don't be surprised if it takes longer than you think to get back to normal.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

I slept better last night. I spoke to my boss today - and we agreed I'd do one piece of work then go back to resting - so that was nice. I re-tested and my red lines are very dark - where they were very light Saturday so I've got a way to go yet. My head feels muzzy. If I cough it's painful - but mostly I manage to avoid coughing. I feel quite tired and my temp control is out of whack - one hand feels freezing and the other is fine??? I have my elec blanket on again.
I've been re-reading this diary a bit the last couple of days. I need to get back into decluttering. My house has gone out of control again... When I'm well I'll get my cleaner to help again and offer her some extra hours.
Thankfully I bought some Mr A veg soup the other day so had that for lunch. Have 1 more left. I've prepared some overnight oats - but with the full fat stuff - so got some fruit to eat later. Peach, blackberries, strawberries and grapes from Mr As and then some redcurrants and the odd blackcurrant from the garden. While I want to lose weight - I want to avoid artificial sweeteners. I read an article the other week and it mentioned different medications that they interfered with... Want to avoid them even more since reading that. What's annoying is that I'm not buying stuff labelled as diet drinks but when I've looked they have sweeteners in them. I'm going to have to hone in on it more. I normally drink water anyway - I just wanted a treat while I was ill. I think one day the govt will realise that when they did their anti-sugar campaign they just replaced one problem with another.
Still not had my P1p decision. I know I'm too early but I keep checking my bank account. If the decision maker follows the advice of the person who spoke to me and sis - then I should get a good chunk of back pay and on-going support. Trying not to count chickens though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sorry that you are suffering. I finally caught it too this weekend. Felt awful and spent most of it in bed. Finally feeling better and due to go back to work tomorrow, only for most of my clients cancel on me as they all have it too! Going to be so poor next month.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4

Agree about the artificial sweeteners, there's got to be a way of using natural but it will come at a cost.

Something that might be nice instead of sweet drinks is freezing some fruit in ice cube trays? Add them to drinks it is quite nice5

The artificial sweeteners in drinks annoys me too.
