Thank you MF, jwil and Beanie
I woke up the other day dreaming of swimming so took it as a sign. I swam 720m in an outdoor pool yesterday. I only went at the last minute - and so only got 45 minutes in the water so I was pleased. I showered there - saving my water and gas - so another MSE win. I ate far more on SW plan yesterday too - and although I went over on my sins at least I counted them. I prepared a couple of jars of overnight oats - as some of the 'pressures' on my sins come from eating too many oats and too much milk. I'm hoping that will then give me a bit more to play with later in the day if needed. I've also gone back to BOB milk when I finish my current semi-milk.
Yesterday's main meals:
Porridge
Roast mackerel, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, half a pepper, small jacket spud and cheap coleslaw
Beef & mushroom stir fry, extra peppers, rice noodles, oyster sauce, a tiny bit of sweet chilli sauce (it made 3 portions). Used 2 beef sizzle/thin steaks
Pretty much the same again today other than breakfast. I won't buy rice noodles again as they are 'sinned' - I thought they'd be less than fresh egg noodles but it's not and I prefer the latter.
Glad I only have to work today and then I'm off. My head isn't in the right space for work this week. Last week I used (all) 5 hours of flexi credit over the week as I didn't have the mental energy for a full day and was disorganised. I've already started obsessing re P1P and the process focuses very much on 'deficits' so isn't great for MH. I got to sleep late last night and woke early - but with the summer light - my physical energy levels are rising - and hopefully my 'healthy eating' is helping with that too.
My eyes are a little less sore than they were. I rang the GP but was referred to chemist instead - and only offered OTC solutions - so will continue with the eye wipes I already bought - but at £8.50 a pack for 20 - hope I don't need more after this box!!
I've put the washing on - hope to peg it out later if the weather is kind - another MSE win.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I only used 20g of oats in each pot - so if I want I can either have both - or still have a small portion of porridge and sin it a little for the extra oats. It has raspberries, blueberries and strawberries in it - and I mixed a pot of lemon flavour fat free yoghurt with plain fat free Greek style yoghurt so it had some flavour. Seems to have worked well - giving it a nice tang without overpowering it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well seems to be like buses - everything at once. I have a hospital appointment next week now which may help me give an update at P1p assessment. Been waiting since March so not too bad. I doubt I can get anyone to go with me at such short notice though... Which could then be misinterpreted at P1p.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Good news about the appointment. Hope you manage to find someone to come with you."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Sis can't come to hospital appt as she's away.
I did manage to dry the washing on the line despite intermittent rain.
Had the balance class tonight which went better that last week as she suggested some mods for things I struggled with. Tomorrow I'm going to another NT garden - one with the lovely yellow arch/tunnel. Hope the weather is kind. I'm planning to eat my pre-made lunch for breakfast - and then take overnight oats with me to eat when I get there or after my walk. I'm also going to take some rye crackers and cheese slices if I have any left. I should be home for tea... I've got water in the fridge chilling - so hoping other than the fuel it should be on plan SW wise and pretty MSE - since I'm now focusing on maximising the benefit from my membership by using it often. Need to work out where else has pretty gardens near me and make a list... We've tended to focus on deer parks in the past but now I'm not catering to kids or other's wishes - I want to focus more on gardens and the occasional tour of the manor etc. Because I'm indoors most of the week - I prefer being mainly outside if I go out - it's also less claustrophobic that way and less likely to risk germs.
A wider family member has covid currently. Hope she's okay. Symptoms seem light so far.

What a lovely dress! Sounds like you had a lovely evening
'Stupid tax' always makes me chuckle, I use it all the time now and even heard my husband mutter it the other day. Hope you manage to get your money back.
With SW, have you checked out Pinch of Nom? Their recipes are delicious and WW/SW friendly... they have books out, but there's also a website (apologies if I've mentioned before, can't remember)DFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

sorry to hear about your relative with Covid - its still not gone has it, but nobody seems to care that much! which is ok until you consider there are still vulnerable people about who don't have much choice other than to try and look after themselves.
I still carry and use a mask occasionally but less so now, although I am much more conscious of personal space and sanitisation.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
