Hope family member isn't too poorly.
NT membership is of huge value if maximised. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

'Stupid tax' always makes me chuckle, I use it all the time now and even heard my husband mutter it the other day. Hope you manage to get your money back.
With SW, have you checked out Pinch of Nom? Their recipes are delicious and WW/SW friendly... they have books out, but there's also a website (apologies if I've mentioned before, can't remember)
Stupid tax is a way of letting go - I need to forgive my mistakes. I haven't followed up - I didn't have the energy... Will see whether that changes...
Thanks @powerspowers, MF and @m@mark55man
Relative seems okay so far.
I've had a nice few days - I went to the gardens - I'll post some photos after. I then decided to go swimming in the sea so bought a bikini and towel. I nearly got hypothermia in the water but glad I did it. So beautiful floating in the water even if it was only 12 degrees. I did however get bitten on my arms so am now super-itchy.
Had a relaxing day yesterday making art. Doing similar today.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Lovely photos. Cost of NT membership and fuel to visit is an investment in yourself. Perhaps you could keep a separate "you" budget pot so that you can chose how you spend the money and spend it guilt free.
Well done on the healthy eating5 -
How gorgeous is that garden! Do enjoy seeing poppies, seem fragile yet are so strong.
If you can budget for wellbeing, include extra for petrol and trips as they repay you with mental freedom.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Beautiful pics as ever.

I'm a big fan of NT properties, I have to drag the rest of my family though. I always go often enough to make the annual membership worth it mind. I'm really slack with weighing up fuel costs on journeys, should start monitoring maybe.DFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)
