Wow your approaching a lot of things with a really positive vibe! Well done on the weight loss progress and the pay rise. You must feel a real sense of achievement chipping away at so many things, well done and keep it going. Your diary is always there to help you along (this worked for me, as I logged the good times and the bad times).6

Thanks for the comments on wearable tech - I'll ponder for a bit and decide how much I'm comfortable spending and from which pay month!
I'm still hoping for PIP as although I try to be positive life is often challenging.hugglemonster said:Wow I forget how quickly your diary moves!
Absolutely fantastic news about the job grade and the backdated pay, also good news on the water bill.
You definitely sounds like a different person and are enjoying life, good on you!

I am surprised by life and the speed of this diary at times too. I hope I am becoming a different, happier person. The test will be what I sustain into the winter months.Humdinger1 said:Wonderful to see things going so well for you @savingholmes; you truly deserve it. It will be interesting to see how stress removal boosts your creative life. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx
Thanks. I have done a lot more art in recent months. It was lovely to get back to my book a couple of weeks ago and to do acrylic pouring. I need to set new habits though... However the disruption caused by messy play /art to the ability to use the kitchen was not appreciated by DD - and I struggle to clean and tidy after myself - so it still not all put away from 2 weeks ago. Which is why ideally I want a dedicated room - preferably with a sink. I keep finding bits of teal metallic paint on my counters and handles etc...
The ideal would be to convert the garage - but a) I don't have the savings; b) builders costs seem to be escalating and c) it would be a lot of upheaval. A cheaper alternative would be to put a sink into my downstairs study / garden room or in the room immediately above it. I don't have the energy for that yet.
I am finally doing some of the @rtist's dates recommended by Julia C in the @artist's w@y - they are supposed to help refill your creative well. It is helping. My willingness/ability to do stuff comes in fits and starts and typically improves dramatically over the summer before shrinking equally dramatically over winter when I go into virtual hibernation mode. I hope to change that this year - but either way plan to capitalise while I am doing better. Off to my balance class next.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Maybe a full and active diary during the warmer months, with indoor art / creativity during the cooler times. It's natural to slow down in winter.

At the risk of being a contrarian, I've always liked my Bitfit, dull as dishwater but generally tracks what I expect and lasts for years. I used to have one of the more expensive ones, currently wearing the Ch@rge 3?
