Holiday plans sound fabulous, hope you can sort out who can look after the cat. I definitely agree about buying annual leave, I think time out is so needed.
Sounds like you've got a lot going on, fingers crossed all those outstanding financial bits and pieces sort themselves out quickly for you.

Holiday cottage sounds lovely, that's definitely something to look forward to.
Fingers crossed for the regrade too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Thanks HSL and HM
Achieved today- I resubmitted regrade doc today - so hopefully it will now get sent off.
- The electric blanket people have approved the refund and are sorting it for me - they say could take 2-7 days for me to see £ in account. Just need to double check they refund the postage too as it was £8.99!
- It looks like the MSE C Club will give me a rough indication of my mortgage monthly. Ironic Exp*n know but C00p don't have an app that can tell the customer directly
It seems to be within £5-20 of what I'd expect so probably as close as I'll get given they check on different dates of the month.
- I've paid £100 off a CC - to cover grocery spend last weekend. I may pay more off later in the month depending on how things go.
Things still to do- Utilities - I need to follow up with BG next week as I don't want to fall behind there - and I still can't log on.
- Health - I'm due an eye sight test so need to arrange that. Again it's £ stopping me rather than anything else. I do get part of the cost back though through a work scheme.
- DIY - Hopefully BIL will mend/swap DD's radiator valve.
I'm hoping to unpeel myself from my chair at some point this weekend and do some spring pruning. Particularly of a tree that I don't want to come into leaf! I plan to get it chopped down at some point but no funds for that currently - so will need to keep attacking it. May invest in some copper nails too. BIL will probably help at some point. I should also mow the lawn and try and do something with the veg patch. I'll let you know how I get on.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Depending on when C send updates to the CRAs, your figure may be a month or so behind, but it does help with providing a rough idea.
Lodge a complaint with BG, they've took ages to sort out something simple for my sibling.

Thanks Beanie, HSL and MF. Looked at my spreadsheet a bit longer - and paid another £100 off CC.
DD now gone with BIL. Her radiator is fixed for free which is good news. His three littlies came so I got some sweet hugs and let them play games on my computer and phone.
I might take myself out tomorrow - have a change of scenery - and hopefully eat at a restaurant I like at like an outdoor outlet style place with a huge garden centre. Trying to break myself out of my habit of hibernating.
I was amused to learn that Ex had sent the original car he was getting back as too small and has got a newer / new version of mine instead! Sounds expensive but not my problem. In better news - he's giving DD his (very) old car - so she potentially will have it from next weekend. Where it gets kept is unclear as she's not yet passed her test (and is going to delay it) and I don't plan to take her out. BIL has said he'd be willing to go out with her but how they'd sort that given he lives quite a way away is unclear. She's planning to save over half her wages this month towards her car so that's progress.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You're getting OSD, obsessive spreadsheet disorder! Well done on spotting a 'spare' £100 and 'spending' it wisely.
Seeing what our ex's do, is almost a benchmark of what not to do. Let's only hope it's not on finance after the mortgage application has gone in.
DS will have to make her way to BILs to avoid using up too much goodwill.

Thanks Jwil and MF. Of course he's using Finance 😱. Me and a friend bet he'd do this. Ah well at least it's not my finances.
Just had gorgeous spag bol at a place I have not been able to eat at during the pandemic.
I have a little £ in an eating out pot. I am offsetting the cost with some 0li0 pickups inspired again by @Blackcats
I am getting fruit, veg and bread. I will be more detailed later when I have done my second pick up. Got bread, bananas and grapes so far. I can see banana loaf in my future. For now enjoying sitting on a terrace overlooking formal gardens. The sun is gorgeous but it's quite windy.
