Can you not take the cat to the cottage with you? Does kitty not travel well? What I do not give, you must never take by force.

Thanks @Crystal, sunshine and Tahlullah
My cat doesn't travel well. I'd be scared of losing it as it's an escape artist too. Didn't even think about the cat until after I booked. Oops!!
I went back to bed for 2 hours after dropping DD off. Ate breakfast during my first meeting.
Sorry you couldn't sleep either Crystal. It's so debilitating isn't it. Ironically I missed it off my list of conditions at the front of the form but it's mentioned a few times.

So good about your holiday.
I am worrying about my mortgage now!5 -
Currently waiting for DD at train station. She is late. One day I will stop being a taxi!!
My financial frog got resolved without me having to do anything so that's a huge relief. I'd even discussed it with my counselor yesterday.
When I have got DD and taken her to the🐔 place I will try and talk to the neighbour about the 🐱.
I finished work early yesterday and today as still feel rough. I may go in the office tomorrow so I can print something so I can finalise it. Struggling to make myself do at home. If I was well I'd work late to resolve it.
Arranged to meet a friend for a meal early next week which should be fun.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I doubt mortgage rates will rocket any time soon, certainly not to what I pay, but there's no harm in taking a 5 year fix to help with longer term budgeting.
I was going to suggest taking cat with you, mine enjoyed her hotel stay, having a warm bed and exploring the room while we were out. 😺

Hi Beanie - yes as MF said - my phone offered a cat and chicken emojis after I typed the words - I then deleted the words once I had a piccie.
Apparently 38% of people on the drug I'm taking for weight loss experience illness as a result - so chances are this week's illness is connected. My weight has dropped though below a stubborn plateau I'd really struggled to get below so I'm still feeling positive about it.
In more traditional MSE news:- DD has paid her £50 which makes me happy. Staying on my CT for now. I've had my bill for next year about £6 more a month than last year.
- She reckons she may be allowed to work more locally the week I'm away in which case the cat won't be an issue.
- Fuel is still going up around here but I am hoping to make my tank fill last - especially as DD should only need max 2 weeks of lifts from me in this pay period.
- I haven't had my electric blanket refund. It's a month late. I have proof of posting and the receipt - so am due £34. I've raised a query. I hope they resolve it quickly.
- I need to try and ring BG again - will take a meter reading tomorrow and at least make the call doubly worth it. I'm thinking of switching from them as they can't seem to get my email address to work despite it working for everyone else!!
- PE still haven't billed me. £ is still there ready so feel a lot less stressed about it - but still unless they are going to write it off I want it gone.
- My manager emailed about my regrade doc - so I need to respond to that tomorrow - and then hopefully it can be sent off for evaluation. She reckons it will be approved and hopes it can be backdated... Trying not to count chickens though. If/when it does get approved - I want to buy extra annual leave. I have booked a third of my holidays in the first 2 months of the holiday year... ! I need more!!

Buying back AL is a good idea. After all you have been you need the holiday. The Lakes will be beautiful. A nice treat to look forward to.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Yes I really do benefit from time in nature and time away. When I am at home all the things I ought to have done call to me. I will have the second week off to help deal with them.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
