Next door cat has just looked in via patio door, to be pounced on by cat 1 & 2 via a window, I don't know who shocked who more.

OH has returned to work today, part time only for a few weeks to see how he gets on, we still don't know if he is cured or not, we have to wait until the end of the month.

Off to sweep the floors again......

Awww bless you Piggers, that was so kind of you.

I had my tree lights on for her this evening and to bring some cheer in.

I'll have a candle for her tomorrow and shall honour her passing to the summerlands.

Day didn't start brilliantly here as, having put our cars in next door's drive and had a restless night hoping we'd wake up before the builder came at 8am, he rang at 7.50 to say he couldn't start the patio today owing to difficulties; he will be here tomorrow. So the cars are back on our drive and we'll have to shuffle them tomorrow.

Had a lovely lazy coffee/cake with ex-work colleague in the sun this morning, first time I've seen her in real life since before lockdown.  Hers was the first present I've wrapped this year.

Finished and emailed a report, started another.

DW emptied.  Sorry that's about all the proper flying.
Drum practice done.
Various bits of admin done.
Mr N saw GP as his cardio check is due - he had a valve replacement years ago. Although now apparently very mild and unalarming murmur detectable when he breathes out, GP was impressed with pulse and BP and said he could tell Mr N did a fair bit of exercise, so that's good.  Also discussed the potential interaction between Covid jabs and his RA medication as recent research suggests it needs careful watching - GP hadn't kept up with the latest so wasn't alarmed.  Dropped my flu jab certification off (from Mr T to GP).
