Morning all
Thanks as always for the lists x
Ive already done a couple of hours at the paid stuff… have masses to do this week as always! Taken a short break to get myself ready for the day and have also opened windows (not for long today brrr!!) tidied lounge, set wm to swish, emptied dishwasher.
I did some batch cooking again yesterday so kitchen was given a good scrub down after that, so I’m considering Mondays list pretty much done, bin needs doing but will wait for it to warm up a bit and will do it when I change the washing over.
take care all, hugs etc as needed x10 -
Good morning everyone, Please count me in for this week. Thanks for the list.
My list for today:
- Make the bed and quick tidy around the bedroom
- Go to uni
- Wipe down kitchen work surfaces
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floor
- Do some work on uni assignments
- Collect meds for DD
- Do required freelance work
- Check diary to ensure that all meetings etc are in it for the rest of this year
- Do some online festive shopping.
Think that is everything for me today. Hope everyone has a good Monday.

I have 5 pompoms to make and lots and lots of scarf tassels... I hate doing those.

Natty I hope everyone is ok and MIL is resting peacefully, either in this world or beyond xxx You and Dave are in our thoughts and a candle will be lit to help guide her way
Germ begone vibes to all who need.. I think *touch wood/fingers crossed/eaten 4 leaf clovers* there are no germs in my house which are causing problems.

Thanks for the lists Natty and Valli. I'm in today but will be in London for a few days after that, so let's hear it for No Flying Zones called hotels. Today I must vacuum the stairs and dust a bit, particularly the pictures where I can see the accumulation on their frames as I trundle down the stairs.Well done Piggers on your persistence in getting a diagnosis for Dot, so that she can now get the support she needs to be happy when things are tricky for her. Sorry to hear about your dMiL Natty. (((Hugs)))I love hearing about the triplets, Kaz. Long may that continue.
Better is good enough.10 -
Kaz, you made me LOL, so my DH asked why. When I explained about the cat, he said, "Will he still be doing that when it starts spinning?"
Thinking of you all, Natty xx
Glad you're all germ free for now, pigpen. You sound so much happier.
Round organised? - Yaaaaaaaay!!!
Jazee, we had breakfast with you. DH is not an early riser!
It's a beautiful morning here, but very cold. I want to get out in the garden before lunch and plant up the bulbs which I retrieved from last year's patio pot display. I think I'm just going to put them in flowerpots which I can stand wherever there's a gap in the borders, once I've cleared them in the spring. I've still got plenty of home made compost which should make them happy.
I have already
- made both beds
- done WMx1 of 2
- S&S'd bathroom
- S&S'd kitchen
- reorganised 2 shelves in the back porch to make room for the trays of geraniums which didn't enjoy being over the radiator in the DR; moved them, cleaned the DR windowsill and swept the floor
- tidied the LR
- got food out of the freezer for lunch and tea
- answered the door twice to take in deliveries (both DH's)
- delivered a birthday card to one of the neighbours
- written more cards / emails / covering letters
- sorted out some appointments for this week
- checked my own and church's finances and paid an invoice
- sent other emails
- downloaded a knitting pattern
I still have various forms to fill in/emails to send/letters to post, but I feel I'm making progress, so all is good.
