Snow here too. Luckily had put the rabbits in their hutch last night, they've lived in the run for over a week while I was waiting for the scaffold to be taken down.
Next week looks like a normal work week, 3 days, so I shan't stress about the house this weekend. I have lots of admin to catch up on. Booster later. Helping at a craft market later too.
stay safe and warm x

We have snow. Not enough for sledging, but there's sufficient to whiten the roofs, stick to one side of the tree trunks, cover my car, and make Rosie happy (she loves rolling in snow
).
I have been awake since 4.00 and up since 6.30. I have done some reading, decluttered over 1,000 emails from my Sent box (all of 2019) and drunk 3 cups of tea.
My other plans for today:
- keep warm and dry
- do some printing and send some emails before breakfast (DH hasn't emerged from his cocoon yet)
- hoover/mop/dust downstairs, where necessary
- ring round the Old Wives to sort out who needs a lift to our planned meeting (i.e. cuppa and cake) at the GC on Monday
- do a bit of knitting
- have zzz if when I need them
- take Rosie out for a walk at about 3.00 pm when the temperature is due to be at its highest (3 degC) and rain/snow least likely
- cook proper comfort food for tea - probably chicken and pearl barley 'risotto', with apple crumble and custard to follow - thereby delaying slinkiness for another week
- avoid Dr Who but watch Strictly
Hope you all stay warm and safe too xx10 -
Good morning all
We too have sleety snow, and it’s blowing a bit out there. Definitely a day for staying in and hunkering down. To start as I hope to go on, I have decluttered my book already this morning.
Flying has been - ahem - minimal, shall we say, this week. I really need to get stuck in to some admin jobs (think car insurance renewal, for one) today, as these have become real frogs. Like Ionafan, I also want to do some knitting, and the thought of apple crumble and custard is now in my head, so may need to happen later.
Stay warm and safe, everyone. Hugs, sticks and spoons aplenty xx10 -

Morning everyone xx
Blowing a hoolie here but the snow we had at 10 last night has gone 😥.
I'm up, made my bed; I'm on brew 2 and I've just completed the bulk of my Christmas shopping online to be delivered by Friday. 🤞. The order includes wrapping paper, sticky tape and labels so tick, tick, tick. I bought Advent calendars and the last of my 'special' cards in the week. So just got to get cash out for D and DS, and find something for L.
Christmas card writing is on my to do list for this afternoon. And it's not even December yet!!!
Now if only I can apply the same can do attitude to flying. I'm going back to the one item a day method which eventually emptied the ottoman. It's slow but baby steps are better than zilch.
Round 1
Take clean dry clothes upstairs
Get dressed
Bring laundry hamper down
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
PA the LTD pots
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Breakfast
Take care if you are out and about today.
Much love

Morning all. I agree that it's a hunkering down kind of day.
I was up and out early to get my flu jab and do the weekly shop. Also picked up dog meds from vet. If I hadn't had the appointment I wouldn't have gone out at all.
The dogs have been groomed, had their teeth cleaned and I cut Poppets eyebrows which were so long she could hardly see where she was going. They're not being walked today, too many trees coming down.
So, plan is to finish dailies and then read, knit, potter about. Oh, and I finished the project with four days to go!
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Booster jab hadFree trees collected, I'll plant tomorrow as it is chucking it down atm.Play time with cats had, they are still at it, chasing a ping pong ball up and down the hallway, cat 3 is still hiding, however he did come out for about 10 mins last night and have a wander around with us, cats 1 + 2 are now chattering to each other, enough now for me to hear them, OH says they have been doing chattering very very quietly for a while.Staying in for the day, until the wind and rain stop.

Tax return has finally been done and submitted 🎉. It has taken me long enough to muster the enthusiasm, if that is the correct word, but it is done. Car insurance next…
Fish prepped for dinner. DD has decided to come home for an overnighter, so fish and dinner will need to stretch for 3. Apple crumble might be the answer. She has requested hm bread, so off to prep that in a minute.
DH has put the blinds up in the study, and the curtains have just arrived. There’s tomorrow’s job sorted for him 🤣.Still blowing a hoolie out there, but the snow has gone, I am hoping that DH will offer to go to big town station to pick up DD…11
