The PIP form has arrived albeit with a return date of 14 January on it. !
I understand that a 2 week extension is readily available ?
The actual form is nowhere near as intimidating as I expected
To start with Q14 (Mobility) is worded differently - it is now set up for people who use wheelchairs and allows me to put the walking distance down as less than 20m unassisted for 12 points. Q14b now says "If you use a wheelchair or Mobiiity Scooter - put down how far you can walk WITHOUT using it"
Which I clearly am entitled to do.
I have heaps of documents to include as supporting evidence and I have the support of Citizen's advice and my GP

Regarding extension.. see advice here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/help-with-your-claim/send-in-form/

There's also good advice on completing the form (for each section) available from that link.

    Good luck!
