I have received the N180 form (once again thankyou for your advice in this forum as i was expecting this so did have a meltdown!).
I will do my best to complete this using the forum guidance.
I also received an email a few days ago from Gladstone Solicitors (in response to the CPR).
    QUOTE
"we trust you agree this matter owing to its complexity and value will be allocated to the small claims track where such requests do not apply;however, we attach for your attention in any event a bundle of evidence upon which our client will rely should it be necessary for this matter to proceed to a hearing".
They have attached multiple photos of my car with a parking ticket on and signage stating 2 hours free parking within the bay. The photos are taken outside my university accomodation.

Why do you have to pay a court fee?

It's nearly a year since you last posted here. What's going on?
  • sorry for my post earlier which i then deleted. im not thinking straight.
A while ago (may 2022) i received a Notice of small Allocation to the small claims track.
It said i have until the 3.11.22 to pay the court trial fee of £27 or file a properly completed application. the court date is 1.12.22.
I am not doing too well mentally right now and i foolishly just put the paper in a drawer and avoided it. Howeve today i have accepted i cant avoid it and have told my parents that i am in trouble. They want to help me but im not sure what my options are. mentally there is no way i can do a court hearing. They have offered to pay the fine for me.
Could you tell me my options?
Im sorry if this isnt making any sense

As a Defendant you do not have to pay any court fees unless or until you lose any court case.

It looks to me that you have misread that paper. It is the Claimant who has to pay a hearing fee.
  • i think i have. i dont really understand what is being asked of me right now. should i upload a copy of it?

tried to attach as a pdf but keeps saying i cant it this format
Yes, for some strange reason this forum won't accept pdf attachments.

Host it on Dropbox or somewhere similar and give us a link to it.

Alternatively post a pic here in the thread.
