Another query if you will.
from what I can gather from other thread, Auto Security Ltd and DCBL may have sought and retained my data from the DVLA illegally if they have no proof of contract with the land owner. Am i correct in this?

Apologies, what I also should have said is that the PPC were members of BPA until 17th March this year and would have received my data before this as my first letter from DCBL was the 5th March this year. However, I am certain that there was no contract in place with the land owner. Therefore, the DVLA would surely have no 'reasonable cause' to share my data?1

If what you say is true, why not make a claim against the PPC for a data breach, the going rate is about £500, read this.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Thank you for the advice. I'll be sure to do this once all of this is over!D_P_Dance said:If what you say is true, why not make a claim against the PPC for a data breach, the going rate is about £500, read this.

The DVLA had no reasonable cause but they don't check. They just believe the parking firm must be playing nicely, just because they are a BPA or IPC AOS member. It's an automated sale of keeper data for £2.50 with little or no human intervention or checking, hence why a legal firm is getting ready to represent victims against the DVLA:

You should all consider putting your names down with that legal firm. No win no fee. All discussed in detail there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
