As per the link above, and the information you presumably received via e-mail (like I did too as an ex-PP customer), I believe that the DD is as expected.0

I can still access my account at Pure Planet. I can see that the DD amount has been added to my credit but no bill has been issued. I guess it will all come out in the wash.

Thanks - I guess I had been expecting things to move along slightly less slowly.

According to an e-mail I received this morning, the DD won't transfer from PP to Shell untill January.0

I cancelled my DD to Igloo for this very reason. Against what some advice says to leave the DD in place, my new account has been set up with Eon.next and s new DD now set too.
It's all going a bit slowly ATM but I've got at least 2 months of payments in reserve when I get hit with my next bill, supposedly catch up bill from September/October going into November.0 -
I fail to see a reason, beyond potentially gaining a pathetic amount of interest by paying a larger bill later I suppose. Cashback on my Santander 123 account means a larger later bill could make me slightly worse off actually (if I hit the monthly cashback ceiling).Brewer21 said:I cancelled my DD to Igloo for this very reason. I will not be cancelling my DD to Pure Planet, as requested by Shell.0 -
May not be a problem for you to have an unknown amount of money with Pure Planet for an unknown period of time, but for some customers that credit built up before Winter ,could be critical as they can't afford to pay the SOLR the same amount now.Ultrasonic said:

I will not be cancelling my DD to Pure Planet, as requested by Shell.Customers with the SoLR will be OK as the balance from their failed supplier should be applied to their SoLR account before the SoLR gets anywhere near demanding that they pay it.The customers who could have more trouble are those who switched away to a 3rd supplier and are now paying the 3rd while waiting for their balance to be calculated and credited to them by the SoLR.N. We were with Pure Planet and have been moved to Shell.
This morning I went on to the PP app to submit my monthly metre readings and I got the message "Sorry We’ve turned this page off for a short time in order to make some updates to it - it’ll be back soon. Thanks for your patience"
Is anyone else getting this message?
I would like to keep accurate readings on my account so we are billed correctly. Any ideas on a different way of submitting them to my account?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
