CEL - PCN to company name
[Deleted User]
Good morning wise ones,
I have followed a number of steps, but just wondering what the advice is specifically when the vehicle is in a company's name (please forgive me as I know its frustrating to repeat advice)
Do I complete a SAR? Because the only advice I can see relates to 'me' and 'my' and this is in a company name?
I have sent CEL an Edna formatted response as per newbies thread.
I have contacted the landowner and my local MP - I await responses.
I have checked the NTK and as far as I can tell they have included all the correct information.
I am past being able to appeal to POPLA but the land is well known to this group - 28-42 Woodford Road, Bramhall - so I am confident in getting the ticket cancelled when they next get in touch with me.
I am at the stage of 'solicitor's' letters.
Many thanks

The company name is wrong with DVLA - a new vehicle purchase and the van was signed over by the garage who spelt our company name wrong. So I probably need to contact DVLA anyway to change this....1 -
Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Do you have a copy of the V5C? (Presumably yes). Is it the Company Name (spelling notwithstanding - this is largely irrelevant) that is listed as the registered keeper?
I'm not 100% on this but I'm not sure they can claim (in court) against a company as a registered keeper - not sure POFA allows for this.

yes, as mentioned in my first post i've complained to MP and landowner. Our MP is usually pretty good so I await to hear from him.D_P_Dance said:Have you complained to your MP?

Yes we have the V5 and yes it is registered to a company name - a ltd company.Jenni_D said:Do you have a copy of the V5C? (Presumably yes). Is it the Company Name (spelling notwithstanding - this is largely irrelevant) that is listed as the registered keeper?

Would you be able to update your post if you find out if a company can or can't be claimed against? (I have been sent a CCJ in the name of a company too).

#1 You can't be "sent a CCJ" - unless you've ignored court papers and received a default judgment. You may have been sent a court claim pack.
#2 Whilst you may have an interest in this, if you require specific help then please start your own new thread.

You might find some useful photos/GSV images from shortsky's thread about this entrapment zone. CEL withdrew the claim in the end.
There was also an issue about the location/address on the NTK/claim form. She was parked alongside No 32 but the documents referred to Nos 34 - 38.
I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I think CEL have worked this one out so now the NTK says '28-42' so covering all bases
