Hi,
I turned 60 in October, live in England, in F/T employment. What things am I now entitled to please?
Thanks,
Andy.

Free NHS eye tests.

You might find some local discounts being offered. For example, my local garden centre gives 10% off to over 60s on certain days - one Tuesday per month, I think it is.0

I think that the co-operative food stores offer 10% off to the over 60s on Tuesdays.1

I'm nowhere near 60+, despite my prematurely grey hair (stupid paternal genes). I was somewhat insulted, especially as the CA looked a lot older than sixty herself!
Found a link which explains all and which shops participate in the offer:

Typical! It would cost me more to get to the closest participating Co-op than I would ever save.To answer the OP's question, many places offer 'Seniors' pricing, but the age that applies to can vary. Often it is from 60 but others may be 65 or above. It's always worth asking.0

Senior railcard, costs £30 and save 1/3 on each ticket. Use Tesco vouchers to triple up and it's only £10 worth of vouchers.1
