I bought the Senior Railcard 1.5 years ago, but better value at £70 for 3 years, so far, above the cost of the ticket, I have saved over £191 and still have until August 2023 to get even more savings.

There are some caveats to it - I don't think you can use it down South in your first year of membership.Katiehound said:

We have NT Scotland membership and have used it down South from the word go.
Parking is only a problem at places like Dunstable Downs, where you have to scan your (English) card to get free parking.1
