What was received on 13th December?antpro26 said:Yes it was received on 13th December with a deadline of 30th December to send back. I followed those steps which is what helped me complete the N180 as advised.
It certainly was not a Directions Questionnaire from the County Court Business Centre.
On 13 December at 2:21PM you had not even filed a defence so could not have received a DQ on that very same day.
Yes... don't do it.antpro26 said:Do you have any advice regarding contacting them directly now they are representing themselves rather than using Elms Legal?2 -
Depends what you mean by 'contact'.
Email the DQ to the CCBC and the parking firm, not Elms Legal now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Their letter was dated 13th December which was notice of Proposed Allocation to the small claims track. They must have sent it the same day I filed the defence. I can't remember the exact day it arrived but was in a couple of days of filing the defence on 13th. It says the questionnaire must be completed by 30th December.
By contact them, I was planning on calling them to attempt to negotiate a lower fee - to be honest I'd happily pay £100 to make it go away and ease the stress my wife is currently going through.
Cheers.

Obviously you email the DQ to the CCBC and the parking firm, not Elms Legal now.
Is email suffice rather than posting as they have included an address on the letter and said to file it with the court office.0 -
Of course.
As seen in all the other court thread here. Every thread is like yours. Read ten or so and you'd be confident NOT to think of wasting your time doing this:By contact them, I was planning on calling them to attempt to negotiate a lower fee - to be honest I'd happily pay £100 to make it go away and ease the stress my wife is currently going through.No.
If offering the PCN sum was an option at court stage, we'd have said so. Your plan just shows you are not as confident as your defence suggests. Don't even try.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The N180 is emailed to the ccbcaq email address and copy in the claimant too , all standard stuffantpro26 said:Coupon-mad said:Depends what you mean by 'contact'.

I hope you downloaded the N180 pdf from MCOL and are not filling in the n180 sent by the claimant ?
No need for a printer , a digital signature added to the N180 from the CCBC will suffice
Email will suffice , one email , 2 destinations , using the CCBC provided N180 , not the fake one sent by the claimant
Hearings tend to be by phone or video link due to covid19 , so unlikely that anyone will attend a bricks and mortar court !
Do not use the word they , be specific as to who they actually is , VCS , or the CCBC , there is no court allocated yet
Copy and paste the claim history from MCOL below , let's see what the CCBC has done , because the DQ stage comes 6 to 8 weeks after the defence is submitted2 -
I would also check the Claim Number.
Could possibly be more than one Claim kicking around here.3 -
If you read the announcement at the very top of this forum , MSE warns people against posting pictures that include personal information , like name and address etc , because the whole world can view it
I suggest that you remove those pictures asap2 -
It is definitely just the one claim number.
I have attached what we were sent which I assumed was the N180 sent by the court. The top part was already filled in.
Am I right in thinking based on what you have said that this is in fact a fake form sent by VCS?
