Well I have been convinced by many many people telling me for years that we will see hyper inflation similar to what we saw in Germany after WW1. So on this assumption, what commodities should I look at investing with in the tracker funds?

Also worth noting that we are heading for a financial crash 10 times more then the last one

Ok so just to put that into perspective, if we get hyper inflation like Germany did, lets say next year, then by the end of 2022 a loaf of bread will cost around £10 millions pounds and then we will scrap the Pound. Does that sound reasonable?

Actuly I do remember Sonya telling me last month "so instead of paying 50p for a loaf of bread will will end up paying £2 a loaf"
So investment in grain worth a shot? If we are going to run into food shortages?

Investing in an ETF won't help you get enough food during a shortage. Suggest you stock up on tinned food, bottled water, buy a generator and perhaps a bunker for when the looting starts.

No.  This particular Halifax product is not a branch/banking customer targetted product.

OP - you are thinking like a short-tern speculator or worrier. It is far easier to accept that you don't know better than the aggregate intellect of the financial markets.

    But your missing the point!
The video is about buying stocks and shares in companies and not buying physical goods
If I where to say that we would see hyper inflation and the markets where going to crash then you would not touch the markets with a barge pole full stop! would you?

If you want to buy goods then get CostCo membership and buy in bulk.

Cheaper depends on your investments and the amounts. iWeb is cheaper than Halifax for large sums.
