ETFs are a more advanced investment option.   Are you ready for that level of sophistication yet?

If you look on there web site there is no stright forward way of buying from them, its all hidden away
It's just as straightforward as buying shares in any other company like Unilever or BP. You do so through a stockbroker, not by emailing the company or visiting their premises with a cheque.

Why not invest through a retail-oriented platform?

I dont know what this is! is it like buying shares in shops or something simular?
So how exactly did you invest money with them? If you want to deal with a bank to buy investments in a branch then you can do that but it's not the cheapest way to do it.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

That is correct.  That isn't how you buy ETFs.  You buy ETFs via a broker (and nowadays, that more commonly means an investment platform).

Yes because they don’t want to sell to you. It’s like Heinz don’t sell individuals tins of beans. If you wanted 1 million tins they might be interested.

This page lists the major UK platforms some of these will offer access to Wisdom Tree funds.
So in that list are some of them brokers for wisdom like wisdom where Heinz and Halifax where ASDA?

I actully bank with RBS but will be leaving them soon as I have requested paper back bank statements over 3 times and they have not done this

It dose not state on the list but dose Halifax sell Wisdom exchange?
Can I buy things though Halifax like gold, copper, cotton etc?

You don't buy the funds directly from them. You typically use an investment platform that can access the London Stock Exchange and the shares and ETFs listed there. What do you want to buy exactly?

I want some gold, copper and cotton and maybe other stuff if I could see what was on offer that is

I see from that link that I am not allowed to requote that Halifax do indeed sell Wisdom stock
I wonder if I had a bank account with Halifax I would get a better rate
Halifax is a building socity and not a bank right?

But for some one new to it would a bank be best
Where is the cheapest? As the link before has Halifax/ RBS on the top
