Inside our centre they have seperate channels operating for different GP's surgeries. This in itself is an additional constraint.
I have heard though that vaccine take up in the fens, where I am, is very slow.0 -

A friend had the same difficulty Monday and she phoned 119 who said the system hadn't been fully updated yet.I had my 2nd vaccine on 20th May, my daughter had hers a few days before me. I haven't received a text asking me to book for the booster but know i'm eligible anyway, as well as my daughter. On Monday evening i went online and was able to book mine for 24th November. Then i booked for my daughter for the same day, just 5 minutes apart. Very simple process. I used this website. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/book-or-manage-a-booster-dose-of-the-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine/

I went online Monday and booked (and had) my booster jab on the following day (yesterday) and that was only 178 days after my second dose, so I think it all depends on availability in the area of the country you live in.
As they like to say in the media, it is a postcode lottery.1 -
Was able to book 186 days after 2nd jab. Offered appointment next day.As above, it seems to relate to the geographical area.0

The mechanism behind the website is updated more frequently that the words on the page. So you may well find the required time since your second dose is slightly less than the words indicate, it just means that the words haven’t yet been updated.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Computer still says no for booster.
I'll probably end up ringing the local service, a friend who is over 6 months and also got told no online, was told of course she is eligible and given an appointment straight away when she called.0 -
