For those of you who order your turkey or other bird from Marks and Spencer... Is it already frozen when you collect it or not? I had to start defrosting my goose two days prior for my pre Christmas trial so I'm thinking I should change my marks collection from Christmas eve to 23rd?
The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

A bit like duck - maybe a bit fattier.

If it’s a frozen one it will be frozen if it’s fresh it will be refrigerated.

M&S turkeys that you pre-order are refridgerated. I have ordered one for the majority of the last 20 years and they have been lovely quality birds. HTH

As an ex chef I would say please don't leave your goose out in a warm kitchen as you may give your guests food poisoning. If you can keep the goose suitably covered and out of reach of wild or domestic animals in a garage at under 6C or under that would be out of the danger zone (6C - 65C) and could defrost it a bit faster.
