DCB Legal letter of claim

As far as I’m aware I have never received anything regarding a second PCN, on the alleged “evidence” they sent through they have an old address for the NTK and final warning for both but have updated my address for 1 of them, I have never received anything for another one.Oh no, that is ringing huge alarm bells that a LBC or even worse, a claim has already gone to the old address and you are possibly in imminent danger of a default CCJ.
YOU MUST go get the post today or tomorrow from that old address. AND immediately reply to the DPO telling them to inform all their agents and legal firms of the correct address for service, and to ERASE the old address.
You can't assume they are even both with the same solicitor and sending a SAR will take too long. If you have a claim sitting at an old address you WILL get a CCJ if you don't go get it and respond.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought this, went to the old address earlier but they say they don’t receive any post with my name on - they’ve probably chucked it to be honest!Coupon-mad said:As far as I’m aware I have never received anything regarding a second PCN, on the alleged “evidence” they sent through they have an old address for the NTK and final warning for both but have updated my address for 1 of them, I have never received anything for another one.Oh no, that is ringing huge alarm bells that a LBC or even worse, a claim has already gone to the old address and you are possibly in imminent danger of a default CCJ.

that way they will have to send court proceedings to my current address seen as according to ukpc they have updated my details today! What do you think? Is there anything else I can do?0 -
The "on hold for debt advice" only works with the pre-action phase, i.e. the PAP. If they have issued a claim you are too late for that.3

No, you apply for a set-aside, which might cost up to £275. If you read the NEWBIE sticky second post, all this is explained there. You are not even sure if you have an undefended claim yet are you? Try phoning the CCBC and see if there is a CCJ against your name or better, a claim with still time to defend it.jenny3260 said:
Lovely. I’m not sure what I can do then in that case.Le_Kirk said:The "on hold for debt advice" only works with the pre-action phase, i.e. the PAP. If they have issued a claim you are too late for that. Here’s to hoping! Can you appeal a CCJ?2 -
Yes if it went to a wrong address but costs a £275 court fee. Last thing you want.
It is obvIous what to also say to DCBLegal as well as putting the cases on hold...add the words about erasing that old address and consolidating the claims into one.
DO THAT NOW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Guys… guess what!! I’ve just routed out an old letter from dcbl regarding the other PCN, so I now have 2 chases for the different parking dates.. yippee!! They must have updated my address and I’ve presumed the letter was for the same date. Thus far I haven’t received a LBC for that claim.
shall I still email asking them to consolidate both claims and remove any old addresses from their records?I’m a happy lady now!0 -
Yes and ask for a 30 day hold for debt advice if you want. Are both actual LBCs from DCBLEGAL or is one only a debt chaser from DCB Ltd?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I only have one LBC from DCB legal, the other old letter for the other PCN is from DCBL, as of yet I haven’t received an LBC for the other claim but according to my SAR from UKPC they have stated both claims are in legal action. Im not sure what what means as they haven’t sent me an LBC for the other, im guessing they just mean chasing me for both?Coupon-mad said:Yes and ask for a 30 day hold for debt advice if you want. You will have to attach a copy of the DCB Ltd letter to your email to DCBLEGAL as they are different companies and the legals won't know what you are talking about.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
