Thanks @jwil and ah I hope you’re son has a good birthday tomorrow too. It’s good this year. As it’s not the first day of school, but I’m pretty sure it will be next year and that’s when Roo starts high school, so I may struggle on that day! But I’m not going to think about that. It’s my first day off this week and I’m so happy to be just sat on the sofa!2

Enjoy your day off. Put your feet up and relax.1

Hey! Well I woke up super early and ended up sorting upstairs out, as we’re changing who sleeps where etc. but my goodness that was the longest task. I spent nearly all day trying to put things away. I did get to go to my dads for brunch which was lovely. But then straight back into it. Everywhere is such a big mess as there are so many bits and pieces everywhere. I’m really struggling with space. All of my stuff is now in the airing cupboard. Apart from a few hanging things. I didn’t think it would be a problem but I just haven’t got any space to dump stuff.
OH wouldn’t appreciAte me leaving all my stuff in The bedroom, so feel a bit like I’ve been evicted from the spare room and like I don’t have space of my own.
Feeling a little bit rundown from working so much. Hopefully I’ll sleep better tonight.1 -
Where does OH keep his stuff?1

In the study, which is more like a cupboard than a room, and is absolutely chocka block with work stuff etc. he’s offered that I can put my stuff in there. But OH is rather OCD and can’t stand Mess so I’d be worried about that all the time, and there really isn’t any spare space in there.
oh Meant to say this is my 4th no spend day in a row, I very nearly went to McDonald’s as we didn’t stop doing the bedrooms until 8.30. But I made everyone beans on toast instead. Very proud of myself.

Ok, so it’s the first day of school today! I managed to get the bambino’s off to school without a hitch. I did shed a little tear though. I really struggle when they go back to school. I hope they’re having a lovely day.So I’ve done a workout and am now sat at work menu planning. I need to find around another £35 this month. As paid for bowling out of a budget of nothing. Going to look at surveys in a bit, am going to take some cash out of the coffee machine at work at get bits and pieces of shopping we need.
Going to try and bulk everything out with carbs and veg to make it go further. Going to go back to putting everything in the Tesco app and shopping to budget, I’m trying to work a 2 week one out or possibly a month….. I need to work out what is cheapest where and maybe buy in bulk the stuff that is cheapest in a Sainsburys or Tesco etc.1 -

I find meal planning really helps with reining in the cost of our weekly shop.
Sticking to the shopping list helps as well. I used to have a habit of picking random bits up as I wandered around the shop!2 -
