It looks like an old petrol station according to google maps (image taken in May), but it's got a proper sign and stock.
I can't imagine why they'd send vehicles to a 3rd party for any kind of preparation or inspection - they'd inspect them on collection and have someone in house clean it up.
Where is the car now? Can you just go and collect it?

Looks reasonably legit but no idea why it would take this long to prep a vehicle. Op, agree with others, if I was you and lived close enough I'd be visiting them in person.

One explanation that doesn't involve a total scam is that they are just a showroom with no servicing facilities. When cars are sold, they normally get a service before being handed over to the customer.Maybe the car went down the road to a mate with a garage. They found a problem and it's taking a while to source the parts to fix it.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
Possibly but in that situation I would expect the garage to be telling OP what the problem it s as they may not want to wait that long.Ectophile said:One explanation that doesn't involve a total scam is that they are just a showroom with no servicing facilities. Conversely the consumer may decide that they no longer want the vehicle if the dealer tells them there's something wrong with it (even if it gets fixed).GrumpyDil said:

Have a look at the site - looks like some pretty specialist stuff on there given the strange locationcaprikid1 said:Have you phoned the number on the website ? How did you find the car ? Was the car cheap ?
Used Cars for Sale Peterborough: (carfirm.co.uk)
Without going through all of them nothing looks massively cheap but maybe rarity/spec/availability make them worth the risk of remote purchase via bank transfer
Hopefully it's not one of the Rollers

* All vehicles are subject to a £89.00 admin charge, all vehicles purchased using a third party broker / lender will incur a charge of £149.This is from there website, are they a middle man?0

All of the pictures look like they've been taken on their forecourt, you can see the sign in the background. Do they keep the high value ones on site? Maybe.k3lvc said:

This states that they will charge extra if a middle man is used, not that they are a middle man. Due to the type of stock they are selling it is likely that they will get approached by vehicle sourcing companies and/or finance brokers on behalf of their clients.moneysaver said:* All vehicles are subject to a £89.00 admin charge, all vehicles purchased using a third party broker / lender will incur a charge of £149.This is from there website, are they a middle man?1
