He should make sure that he has an up to date will and leaves someone he trusts to act as trustees for the children. IT's common in wills to say that a receipt from the parent(s) is good receipt (and then the parents are responsible) but pretty easy to draft it so that the trustee looks after any money until the children turn 18.Brie said:One of my ex SiLs (I have a few....) told my brother that she expected a split of whatever he gets when our mom goes.
