Also turns out my off peak is 12.30am too and the storage heater is charging from midnight. It has a cool little blinky charge light that comes on. So it's charging 30 minutes before my off peak, although to be fair it isn't making a dent as it uses so little khw but I've emailed the people who installed it as they left no instructions in how to change the off peak time.

Sorry to hear that your daughter's room is on the cold side of your home   Part of my house is still single-glazed (including two bedrooms, as it happens) and we go round with a cloth in the mornings to wipe away the condensation, it does help.

It does sound as though you've got a good handle on your heaters and how they work. You just need to keep an eye on them and maybe fine-tune the settings.
