Beautiful Spring weather here. Nice to see the odd butterfly and hear the sound of lawnmowers again. 

Still potting steadily. Mostly travel savings plus the odd shopping saving.

Well, it was the first day of spring yesterday, so with the last 3 days and this week all being lovely, fingers crossed for real springtime being here till summer!! ☀️ Have a good week.

Hi Ant, beautiful weather eh, set to be like it until the end of the month too! ☀️ We've a gorgeous male Blackbird singing in our Hawthorn tree, and like you, we've seen Butterflies, mostly Brimstone Butterflies, the male ones are such a joy to see with that brighter yellow, but whatever the colour, they make it even more spring like. We had the sound of lawnmowers over the weekend, spring is in the air for sure!

Hello, I’ve potted £3!  I have also got the cover on my polytunnel so hoping my tomatoes et al love it as much as I do once they get transferred (probably about a month away still).  Fingers crossed for a few grocery savings to head towards the pot 🤞

Good afternoon everyone,

I really didn't expect to be so tardy in posting.  My birthday was last weekend and we had a lovely jaunt to London to celebrate, using my Christmas present from my husband (afternoon tea near Buckingham Palace!).

This week has been payday and I have also been blessed with being able to pot about £60.  My total should be a good one come October!

I hope everyone has been able to enjoy some of this glorious weather.  We've had the windows wide open today, and it's great to air the house at long last!

Hi Hetty, well done you with the potted £3!! Your tomatoes will come on well in the polytunnel, those or greenhouses are the best thing for them! 

I think everyone's enjoying this gorgeous sunshine, I don't blame them either. 

Hi Vicky, a very Happy belated Birthday to you, it sounds as though you had a really lovely time, especially with the afternoon tea!

Some excellent potting!! I don't doubt you'll have a fantastic grand total come October!!! Very well done so far!

It's a joy to throw open the windows, we've had ours fairly wide all week!!

A trip to the Dentist on Friday for a temporary root canal!! Oh so painful, but another appointment in 2 weeks time to see if it's worked or whether the tooth will need to come out!! Oh joy of joys!

I haven’t been on here for ages, but I’m still potting away

Slowly returning to the office, but I’m making an effort to take lunch and snacks with me as central London prices are just stupid.

I’ve set up save the pennies on two of my accounts so that’s all adding up.
