    You are right to point out that people should be aware that terms may change at the end of minimum contract periods and it is generally true that such changes are rarely in favour of the customer.
    Correct, it was at the end of minimum contract but they definitely told me I had been moved to a new contract because they "no longer offer the plan I was on" ... and so I lose the free Go Roam benefit and have to pay double the amount I had signed up to. All without any discussion, just a text to say "welcome to Three".  Chancers ! 
    I suggest that you switch to ID mobile.

    They operate on the Three network but offer monthly contracts, data rollover, WiFi calling and roaming to 50 countries.
