Allocated parking space- five tickets issued to resident

And FYI his absolute best was simply him forwarding on to PCM the complaint I'd made to the housing association- he didn't actually intervene or add anything himself requesting that they cancel them.Holtzmann84 said:Which very much reads like he's done everything he can and his involvement is now done.

You need to persevere and keep it focussed on what your lease says. Don’t get sucked into irrelevant side issues such as the property manager suggesting what you should do. PCM are trying it on, that is their business model, and how they dupe people into paying them money. Focus on what the LAS stated in the bold section, that’s all 🙂

TBH engaging with them looks so much better later to a Judge, so I would be asking young Lauren why she thinks it costs £120 to send four scam PCNs to someone they know is a resident, and which one was she on the Watchdog "rogue traders/we make it up most of the time" episode, or was that PCM infamy before her time?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It won’t get to having to go to court though! You need to focus purely on what the lease says. Send them the links to the court cases as supporting evidence - they are relying on you backing down and paying because psychologically they appear to be doing you a favour by reducing the figure with added pressure of a deadline, it is a big fat lie!2

This is a scam. These companies have no place in private resisidential car parks, they make renting more difficult for landlords and depress resale values. Play hardball. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Thanks for all advice. I've emailed my property manager back explaining the primacy of contract point and that I am not liable. I've requested that he intervene properly with PCM and ensures that all of the tickets are cancelled. I will update here when I know more.2

While I wait for my property manager to get back to me do you think it would be a good idea for me to go down the official appeals process? I know it never works (it's the IAS), but assuming it's a step I probably need to take to potentially show later that I've tried to engage in every way. I also haven't contacted PCM directly (in response to the reply 'Lauren' gave to my property manager) as I had already asked my property manager to get back to them again. Do you think it's worth contacting them myself as well? I can't see it would make any difference but I could quote some of the court cases and lease info. Or just wait until later?0

Why would an admin charge be x5 it should be one single charge for the lotHoltzmann84 said:Yeah funnily enough the staff member from PCM who sent the response to my property manager is also called Lauren- so I assume it's the same person. From that thread it looks like the admin charge she offered was actually £36 for one ticket- which is obvs too high for an admin charge anyway. As they issued me with 5 tickets, even if they also offered me this option, it would work out as costing more money than they are currently asking for with the option of just paying the first two tickets at the reduced rate. Ugh they are the worst.

I think you should appeal each one with the evidence you will use later in court. It looks so much better if you can show the Judge that you didn't ignore it. And the Claimant looks unreasonable for failing to resolve the dispute in the face of your early evidence.
Also try the farce of the self-serving IAS 'kangaroo court' (by all accounts seen online and going by their own Annual Report). Just do NOT use the £15 'non standard' IAS for late appeals. Never ever.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks @Coupon-mad, I've now appealed the tickets via the IAS, using the same evidence I would use in court, and will send the same info and evidence direct to Lauren at PCM, to be clear that I am engaging with all routes, while I wait to hear back from my property manager/s.1
