Did the letter give you 30 days or 14 days?0 -
Looks like it was a debt collector letter. Did they give you 30 days to respond or 14 days and I mean did the letter specifically state "......... you must respond within 14/30 days" OR "........... you must respond by DD/MM/YY" Did it include financial forms or a link to where they might be found?1

I can’t remember if it did on the letters from new generation parking. But there nothing on any of the debt collectors letters to say you have until this date to respond other than it’s covered with different method of payments. The letter before this was the final notice of debt recovery and that had ‘ alternatively if you wish to discuss your case please call ….., which I did and explained the situation and they just said sorry we can’t go back to client you still need to pay despite me saying I wasn’t the driver, but I am the registered keeper. I read many posts that just says to ignore these debt collector letters and apparently they can chase you for up to 6 years. I googled the company bevan house and the building been leased to someone else now. So I do t know if it’s the landlord or the business owner at the time using new generation parking. If that even matters:
ive emailed my local MP, just have to wait and see what annoying letter is sent next. 🙏0 -
Will do thank you, not sure how you close this chatCoupon-mad said:Just read the DCBL letters group thread.1 -
No need to close it as we want you to use the same thread again, not start any new ones, as and when you get a claim form or LBC from DCBLegal, if they do.
No phoning these parasite firms.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, I’ve taken on the advise and approached my MP with this matter and received the below response from NGP. Is this confirmation that they will take this matter up with the court?

Wow they are rude. Surely your MP didn't let them get away with accusing you of lying? They have no idea who in the family logged on in 2018 to view the PCN photos and this could have been you or the driver and means nothing except you got the PCN!
If you were not driving I would now consider giving the name and address of the driver to DCBL and this rude ex-clamper bunch and then if they continue to pursue you, then you have an absolute defence in court. You can't be liable after transferring liability.
The only downside to naming the driver is they should then pursue that person, and are they up to being sued? Does the driver have good grounds for defence?
To answer your other question, no they can't just get a CCJ against either of you. It has to go through small claims and even if you lost you wouldn't get a CCJ if you paid in full and that would be a similar sum to what they are shouting for now.
I would feel so angry about them telling your MP you are not to be trusted that I would be up for the fight if I were you. Decide now whether to transfer liability and obviously, no phoning them up.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, thank you,
I was shock with the response they gave the MP and surprised she didn’t go back with some stern words , but as I explained to the MP that I was not going to give the name of my ex, I don’t know where he is living now but I do t want any issues from this resulting coming my way due to the nature of the relationship.I will happily try to defend this if it they do take it further, from their response I’m guessing they will.I kept screen shots of the photographs they took on the day. And it only shows a picture of the car, not where it is parked or any images or their signages etcIt’s just the car.
the business the car was parked in front of was closed at the time so no loss of earning to the business.
am I right to believe that they have to justify the amount they are charging being loss to that business?
I found a site called parkingmateuk that’s apparently supposed to help with the case if it comes to county court. Have you heard of them?0 -
WOW .... such an ignorant reply and stinks of a scammer at work.
Surely your MP will not accept this rubbish. But they are members of the scam IPC, a Gladstones set up ..... MORE FOOL NGP for belonging to a scam organisation.
Is your MP not aware of the great Gladstones / IPC / IAS scam ???
