Court Order against Npower

If you do this, please let us know what the outcome is of sending your court order to a different legal entity than the one that the order is against. It may be educational.tiff_rocks said:
Thank you, I will do.stewie_griffin said:You might be better off sending the documentation to E.ON's registered address in Coventry.

Ok, final comment from me in this thread (hopefully) that will please someone

OP- which company do you have a court judgement against?
NPOWER LIMITED
Company number 03653277
Whose registered office is located in Swindon?
or
NPOWER DIRECT LIMITED
Company number 03782443
This latter company was the one that was said to have been sold earlier in this thread to E.on UK plc and so changed it's name to E.ON NEXT ENERGY LIMITED w.e.f.29-May-2021 (recorded 03-Jun-2020)
It's registered office moved from Swindon to Coventry at about the same time.
Or another nPower company entirely?
If you have secured a court judgement in your favour, you can certainly attempt to enforce it against the party stated in it.
A simple change of name (or a change in who owns the shares) will not affect any attempt to enforce that court judgement (although wise to alert the court to such change of name and/or address when making such application. The court will not be interested in who owns the company)
But I suggest you don't carry on attempting to communicate with a non comunicative (or rude) party to enforce a court judgement. Plenty of advice available online as to how to apply to enforce a court judgement, or otherwise seek independant legal advice of your own.
Plenty of comments also available on the chances of having a default judement eventually overturned by a large company once you have spent more of your hard earned cash not only securing it, but then attempting to enforce it.

Thank you..it isn't something I thought to check. In very small print at the bottom of the letter it states 'npower is a registered trademark and is the trading name of Npower Limited Registered No. 3653277.
Windmill House, Swindon.
Should I use this as the address do you think?
I really appreciate your help and I apologise for not replying sooner as I'm unsure how to use this forum properly 😊0 -
That is the company you have your complaint with, and (hopefully) the one named in your Court Order. In your place, I would use that address.tiff_rocks said:

Why? The OP does not have a court judgement against Eon.stewie_griffin said:You might be better off sending the documentation to E.ON's registered address in Coventry.0 -
It's more likely they'll get a response. Are any of the npower offices still even open? Do npower have any assets left.Keep_pedalling said:
