An update on from my post. Nationwide did agree in the end that I had a valid claim under the direct debit guarantee and refunded my igloo payment. I also had an email from igloo to confirm and that the DD has been cancelled to stop further payments. I completely agree with the comments that we should not be making payments to a failed business, until the final bill is produced at least.0

Two problems
1. igloo took a DD payment four days after their demise, Eonnext are not issuing itemised accounts so I cannot check whether this was passed on, or even bill calculations.
2. I have an E10(restricted) meter, eon are double-charging the standing charge(I only know this because it is unused at present, eon will not supply detailed bills). This practise stopped in August 2020 after complaints to Ofgem, it cost Bulb >£1.3 million in refunds.
I have made two separate complaints to two web addresses given by eon, despite " will get back in a couple of days", their is no response. Who do I complain to next?
I must be entitled to detailed billing and if eon are double-charging in defiance of an Ofgen order, they should consider what it cost Bulb.0 -

I've even had to work out for myself that I'm not on the DD tariff, this they have sorted out for me and backdated the difference (a credit) going back to Oct 2nd.
Apparently when you get an email to submit a monthly meter read they then send a later email will an itemised bill. I haven't had a bill yet from them via email but definitely within an hour of submission of the meter reads the payment was taken from my account. Fortunately the amounts taken add up to my usage.
Igloo issued an itemised bill the same day I sent meter reads, why can't a company like Eon do it?0 -
Still have no final bill from Sept 16 21 - Oct 2 21 from Igloo. Credit balance is £220. It will be c. £200 when calculated bill til 2 Oct 21.
Last two direct debits from Igloo were £80 on 21 Sept 21 and £69 on 19/10 (after they went bust)
Had £122 balance transfer to Eon Next ac on 2 Dec 21. No idea where that figure came from.
Need the final figures fixing soon as its confusing me and don't want to be ripped off.

Need the final figures fixing soon as its confusing me and don't want to be ripped off.If you have had balance transfer from Igloo that should mean amount owing to Igloo has been taken.I have not myself had or seen anyone post to say they have had a final Igloo bill, direct debits paid to Igloo after 7th October have not as far as I am aware been transferred across despite E.ON Next saying this on 3rd "Any payments made after 7th October will be applied to your E.ON Next account early this coming week"The most important thing is to check if you have not already done so that you are on direct debit tariff rates0 -
Not had a final bill from Igloo either. Nor have I seen any form of bill from EonNext in spite of submitting meter readings when requested. However, my EonNext account is mysteriously increasing a debit balance on a regular basis! They took the first DD earlier this month too.0

I did set my DD for EN £46 a month as the credit on Igloo will help. They have not changed it yet!0

I had a credit of £127 when Igloo ceased providing my energy, they then billed me for £32 a final bill. A credit of £95 then appeared on my Eon account for the balance owing from Igloo.👍0
