What happens if you miss the witness statement deadline? Is it over?

    From Google.
    Or courtfinder.

Yes but in a bad way, you won't be allowed to speak at the hearing as you will be deemed as having given no evidence to back up your defence. When is your deadline?

Well... (clears throat) rather embarrassingly, it's passed after double checking... I've submitted my WS anyways though and will now just hope for the best - a lesson to remember I guess

If the claimant doesn't pick up on it being late, and doesn't say anything at the hearing, then you'll likely get away with it.

Did you receive their WS on time?

Should I be taking a physical copy of my WS just in case?

You have to take a copy of EVERYTHING to the hearing.  How else will you take part?  Go prepared and expecting to have your chance to speak to the Judge.

Most people whose WS and evidence is a little late are not prevented from giving evidence.

Judges cut some slack in small claims.

Hi guys ,so my hearing is tomorrow and I have  been preparing as advised by yourselves

    Question #1:

"...nor that this Claimant has authority from the landowner to issue charges in this specific
area. The Claimant is put to strict proof of all of this, and that they have standing to make
contracts with drivers and litigate in their own name, rather than merely acting as agents"

I put this statement in but realised they have an exhibit which has "contract for parking enforcement" between parallel parking and the company who is the landowner.

    But the names are redacted.

Is this something they will call a charade? Or is there more here I need to know
