    5.  Read
    6.  Update laptop and scan with free anti virus
    7.  Duolingo
    8.  Washing will have to dry indoors as it’s so cold today

    Hello all - happy weekend!

I decided on a busy morning and am reaping the benefits now with an afternoon on the sofa with Queen videos playing and plentiful cups of tea while OH is out getting horribly muddy on a rugby pitch.

    This morning:
    - toast for breakfast, OH decluttered the end of a jar of marmalade and I did the same with some jam.
    - Washing from machine to airing rack outside. Will probably finish inside tomorrow.
    - load > machine to run overnight - bedding so will get half an hour tumble dry for softness  then finish outside hopefully
    - shopping - Al’s, £38 as included some stocking up.
    - gym visit
    - walk home from the gym - daily steps done!
    - one load washing up

Now feeling zero guilt in the sofa situation for a bit, but will probably do some more odds and ends during the afternoon too.

  • Morning guys - 1st time posting this week! Life is so very busy, but at the moment it's relatively calm and the demands while hard are enjoyable

I'm off to work soon, but reading and having a coffee before I start getting ready in 10 mins.

    Today:

    * ask dd to hang up washing and do another load while I'm at work (her and gd2 have stayed for the weekend)

Hello DNM - I’ve popped in to this thread previously and been a regular post on the boards for yonks, just a Ihave a habit of disappearing from time to time for aaaaages and making everyone think I’ve left permanently! 🤣 Truth is I always need the kick to focus properly on MSE stuff again sooner or later, plus love the community on DFW! 😊

I woke up at 8.30 wide awake so decided to get up. The veg box was delivered just after midnight, I grabbed it and brought it in when I got up for the loo. Not opened it yet though. Had my first cuppa of the day and emptied the DW so that’s a job done. Other stuff for today:

    - Mr EH’s car needs a clean - has to go to the jet wash as it’s too tall to easily do at home
    - washing from machine to airer outside
    - washing from outside to inside to finish off
    - probably another load > machine
    - pork into SC for tonight
    - pre-winter tidy up of the balcony, furniture folded and away etc
    - Hoover right through
    - declutter a few items, already sorted some DVDs.
    - 15 minute tidy of the spare room - it’s our room of doom!

Used my power bank to charge my iPad and phone overnight rather than plugging in to the socket - MrEH will take both power banks to the office tomorrow to charge them. 😆

Have a nice chilled relaxing Sunday all! 😁

    Afternoon all,

Did my shift at Sainsburys this morning. We're super short staffed so they've also asked me to work Saturday. So the only day off I have is Tuesday. I think as long as I keep hydrated and sleep properly I should be okay.

    So far I have

    Cleaned kitchen
    Loaded dishwasher
Washed clothes and put on airer
    Hoovered living room
Put work lunch in the pressure cooker

Now I plan on just watching some films for the rest if the day

Are your "powerbanks" a particular brand - I'm looking to get one for DS and have no idea where to start looking

OH’s is Anker I think, and mine is EasyAcc. We use them a lot, although nowhere near as much as I did before I changed my phone a year ago! Handy that he can just plug them in to recharge at work too! Both of ours came from Amazon - I’ve found having two USB holes makes them more useful too so that’s something to look out for. 🙂
