    Afternoon all :)
    So far today I have:
Doggy walk - mercifully devoid of rain, wind or leaves, or at least the dog was  :D
Kept heating off, though we will be lighting the stove later
Received a letter to tell me that one of my premium bonds had won £25 - logged in and used it to buy more bonds
    Did a survey for Pinecone
Asked OH to get cream and yogurt from Lidl, as he 'had' to go for beer :D  He also came back with something with the glorious name of a 'Japanese pull saw' from the middle aisle  :D:D  I knew it was fatal him going, but it turns out this is some kind of tool that he will use for his woodwork, so it can count as an expense on his accounts (he makes wooden stuff and sells it).
Made soups - leek and potato and curried parsnip, from veg from the box I got yesterday at Lidl
Made apple and quince pie filling using apples that also came in the Lidl box, plus home grown quinces
I won't be needing a big shop this week, as I have loads of food in.
Had HM soup and toast for lunch
It is sunny outside atm, though much colder. I think I will do a bit in the garden
I also need to make a couple of phone calls, find a recipe for a lemon and poppy seed cake, freeze some of the things I made this morning, and sort out my spice shelf.
Not sure about dinner yet, but it will be either pie or quiche from the fridge.

Today has been a highly productive financial admin day and I'm feeling suitably smug.

It's cold though - anyone else starting to feel as though heating on is not as far away as they would ideally like?

Haha my heating has been on since 2 weeks ago! Although, I put it on timer for when I got up at 3am this morning. It was way hot!

    Evening all :)
    Today I have:
Walked dog (just me today as OH was golfing)
    Hoovered through downstairs
    RM surveys stuff
£5 Am*zon voucher claimed from survey site
Gave away a box of alpine strawberry plants to a freecycler (a saving for them, and no cost to me, they need thinning out as they are taking over. They are like mini triffids!)
Applied vine weevil nematodes to last batch of 'proper' strawberry plants (which are container grown) and potted blueberries
HM soup for lunch, curried parsnip :)
Sorted out fridge salad / veg drawer. I had to compost half a home grown cucumber (one of several) and a courgette (one of many). Sadly the ones that I have left will be the last for this year, as the plants have gone now.
Opened a new savings account. Rubbish interest rate, though not the worst, but handy to transfer shrapnel from current account.
Quiche, salad and jacket potatoes for dinner.
No heating on here, extra cardies only during the day, but I do light the stove for cold evenings. The kettles are boiling, so I may as well use the 'free' hot water to do the washing up rather than paying for the dishwasher to heat up water from the cold supply!
