The next few months might get a little crazy, but there will probably be some form of blow off top followed by a long consolidation period (even with institutions in the game, I think this happens even if its perhaps to a lesser extent). The real wealth is built in that period by sticking around when everyone gets bored and goes home for a couple of years.
You have just described by future crypto ideal scenario and what I am basing my crypto investing around - I hope we are right.

Large wealth can be made from a bear market.
You are allocating your portfolio based on the expectation of your personal utopia becoming true?
  • Actually I think the point is that he is planning to allocate his time in a future scenario he hopes will happen.

If it doesnt come true and Bitcoin goes straight up from here to $500k I won't mind too much, as Im sure neither will Adyinvestment.

Of the Bitcoin scenario's I believe possible, a top (possibly a blow off) in the near future is what I think is most probable, I have a plan to use this to the best advantage I can, as a reasonably late to the game crypto investor a bear market will offer lot's of opportunities. This will also give me a chance to better distribute (noobie errors) my holdings which because of tax Is difficult  at the moment.

You are correct though, if Bitcoin were to keep going in some extended/never ending cycle that would also be very nice and rather profitable.

It may of course do something else entirely, all we can do is make the best decisions we can with the info we have, with crypto I believe you have to keep your finger on the pulse as it can change so fast.

What are you basing this guess on?

... how? Also, you're relying entirely on market timing to make a profit.

This will also give me a chance to better distribute (noobie errors) my holdings which because of tax Is difficult  at the moment.

    Also how?

You are correct though, if Bitcoin were to keep going in some extended/never ending cycle that would also be very nice and rather profitable.

Isn't this a truism... And impossible?

Again with the truisms. What information are you basing your decisions on? What is the pulse and why does a finger need to be kept on it?
You are describing what gambling feels like.
