The webchat is pathetic. I've been waiting for the next advisor for 55 minutes now, the updated time every couple of minutes says an advisor will be with me within the next 9 minutes and 43 seconds...

I got through to the webchat after 1 hour 10 minutes of the 9minutes 43 seconds screen, - which was at 5.55 pm and they were due to close at 6 pm? Which was appreciated. They saw the conversation through, which took until about 6.25 pm.
They confirmed that a second email of notification should have been sent, which hadn't. She then looked into the status of the account, even though it was only 6 weeks, and informed that the case had to be sent off to Brighton local office as there was technicalities that they were better suited to deal with.
But it hadn't actually been sent...
but she agreed to send it off.
I honestly think it would have just sat there for the 8 weeks and then someone might have got round to sending it off!
Brighton are only now dealing with applications that they received on 17th December was the other snippet revealed. So at least 9 more weeks before it even gets looked at seemingly...
