A 4K film can easily top 100GB. I stand by that. I didn't say streamed and I did say that compression would bring it down.QrizB said:

Why is 100Gb not much?According to eg. this site you'll need 25Mbps, which is 11GB/hr.Edit:and I've checked my Disney+ account, that states 4.2GB/hr for 4K:

So why mention it at all in the context of a broadband connection with limited data allowance?ItsComingRome said:

Most people would consider downloading a movie to be streaming, but if you were to download an uncompressed 4K movie you'd be looking at 50-100GB.
It's also rather irrelevant to look at one providers streaming figures and assume that applies to everyone, and 4.2GB per hour is hardly chicken feed. And if the OP has a PC connected that auto-updates etc etc that 100GB could run out fast.
It was simply a warning that they need to be careful and not assume that 100GB is enough. As per usual the peanut gallery chips in and argues the sky is red.0
