They are unhappy (?) that customers have built up a large credit yet the only reason that has happened is their requirement to top up every 120 days. Drop the requirement to top up and hey presto, customers don't build up substantial credit.

I think the point is people have built up large amounts of credit that they're not using and as is the norm with PAYG providers there is no refund mechanism available. This provider is more suitable for people who use the phone regularly but don't want a contract. If you only use a phone once in a blue moon then a more traditional approach may be better.

Just read the rules before you sign up, simples.0

Although if they're building up credit then they clearly didn't read the rules or they wouldn't have signed up with them in the first place.zagfles said:
Err..read the article. The rules are changing for people who've already signed up under different rules!roddydogs said:Just read the rules before you sign up, simples.

Pretty much fits our pattern. So building up a bank of credit is useful as we'll spend it on holiday.Strange they're only applying the change to people who signed up before 1/1/21, if they don't like the change they could just get a new SIM, can you switch via a PAC from/to the same provider?!

Rubbish. See above. Obviously some people might not have understood the rules. I did and that's why I chose them. Luckily after 1/1/21!ItsComingRome said:

Can't use a PAC to move a number from/to the same provider. You could just get a new sim from 1p but, of course, you can't move your credit to the new number.Strange they're only applying the change to people who signed up before 1/1/21, if they don't like the change they could just get a new SIM, can you switch via a PAC from/to the same provider?!2 -
Guess you could via another provider and back...but then they might change it for new customers as well. Seems dodgy practice to prepay for something and then get told that what you prepaid for has changed and you can't get a refund...gavinbaxter said:
