    I had been wondering if Martin would approach anybody from one of the forums to 'spread the gospel'. I'm sure you'll do a brilliant job as an ambassador for 'Old Style'.

    Congratulations on being chosen! you will be great!! I'm looking forward to this series, never seen Martin on tv or heard him on radio yet :o

    how about - meal planning and shopping list, buying local v supermarket, HM v ready meals - be good to quote some price comparison for hm food, eg hm bread v shop bread? and vinegar and bicarb (natch! :D ) v all those silly (and totally unnecessary!) chemical laden potions

    I agree with rosiebien, giving people some idea that home cooked food is cheaper than ready made would be a really useful thing :) I think it's easy to overlook the very obvious sometimes but a lot of people don't understand this!! Also that you can freeze portions of food when you cook.

    Oh and some OS cleaning tips would be good too I reckon!
