:T I dont post on the os boards but regurally read what people are doing to save money and have used lots of ideas from there, dont worry you'll be fab, specially as from reading other of your posts money saving is something that you are passionate about and to be able to spread the word to others is fab:j

You have to do something with vinegar surelyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Congratulations Lilibet!!
I'd definitely talk about not buying branded goods or expensive cleaning products and batch cooking and/or stretching out meals.
Good luck!!0 -
Don't forget the bicarb as well! I know you can't promote Stardrops but, if you take the label off, we'll all still recognise it! Well done, can't wait to see the programme!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Thanks for your support everyone:j
The programme is "It pays to watch" and is starting on channel 5 in January. I am sure that my bit will probably be edited down to about 30 seconds:rotfl: , especially once they cut my "errmmms'" out! But it is quite exciting. I am panicing that my house is a total tip at the mo so I hope they can film around the worst bits as I have a childrens Xmas party tomorrow morning, am babysitting tomorrow afternoon & helping a friend tomorrow evening (and am at work at the mo) so no time to spritz the house up!
I'm hoping to talk about getting good value for money out of local shops versus big chains, home cooking & menu planning, not sure if I will be talking about OS cleaning as I think they might have someone else lined up for this as a special subject (who?), OS living with a family & budgeting and maybe home sewing. Not sure how much of this will be used and these are only my ideas & the production team might decide they want totally different from me on the day. Can anyone think of anything else which I might be able to talk about with a vague degree of competency? Like I said, so much of what I do is 2nd nature these days that it doesn't register as OS or even strange any more!
I know that for legal reasons we can't mention this site or anything to do with it but maybe I can at least have "Thrifty ways" in a prominant place on my (2nd hand) bookshelf;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
