Hello OS'ers!
I know I'm not too obvious on these boards these days but I am still reading a lot, just not posting so much (A 2YO, a sick dad, a part time job & post natal depression are filling up my time at the mo) but I am still practising old styling and too be honest it comes as second nature now, I don't even think about it so am apt to overlook some OS actions as just my usual way of life.
I've been asked to do a short one-off segment for Martins new progamme, It Pays To Watch, talking about Old Style!:o They are comming to film me the day after tomorrow:eek: Apart from panicing that I have a face for radio & a voice for mime:p, I am thinking about what I can talk about/demonstrate as classically Old Style, allbeit things with a modern twist i.e making my own bread but using a bread maker instead of by hand, exchanging goods & services rather than paying out cash etc. But I am also hoping to use some new & more inspiring stuff too.
I really hope I don't let you all down and am a good OS ambassador & bring lots of new blood to the board:o Has anyone else been asked?

Hi liibet
what about making your own washing powder (os) to go in an automatic WM
making a sponge pudding in the microwave. I'm pretty sure it was MATH who posted how to do this and is in the index...somewhere :cool:0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No. That's surely not you. That's me you're talking about, which is why I'm glad it's you and not me doing it! I'd be totally useless, gabbling, umming and aahing. The best of luck, and it will be good to put a face to a name when it's on. Hope it's not a satellite channel.0 -
Lilibet, that's great news! :j You'll be terrific, and I can truthfully say that you are attractive and have a nice voice, so there.0
