I've printed off the order form for soap nuts and posting it tomorrow.......bit remiss of me to leave it a whole week !
Was going to send for free samples but don't have paypal account and to be honest thought I may as well order them as mess about with s.a.e.
Missing tonights programme as OH wants to watch football.............well he has been working hard so have to let him have some control over the tele.
At least he said he's taping it for me to watch tomorrow.

Liz are you on again next week? I'm sure you mentioned being on three times? It was fun to do it once but now i've seen myself I dont think I want to be on again lol!

It has made me get my act together and i'm writing a blog to put my old style tips on. Its only early days yet but if anyone wants a look and has any ideas, let me know. http://shirleyuk.wordpress.com/ I'm thinking of doing a cookery challenge type thing, perhaps stuff like how many meals I can get out of a chicken.

I've wrote about how hubby and I took the decision for me to leave my job and stay at home but finding ways to make up for my loss of income. We've ended up eating far healthier now I cook from scratch!

aww no lol, I didnt do all that on the TV... I wish. No I just did a little bit about my hens and how I sell the eggs so they actually cost me nothing to keep.

The stuff about cooking and recipes is what i'm hoping to set up on my blog for MSE'ers just starting out to go and get some meal ideas. I've asked Martin if its ok to mention my blog here and he's happy with it! I think I want to marry him now, he gets better looking every show :money:

Well - Ive now taken the plunge and wrote to my credit card companies (only 2) to ask for the list of charges they've applied since taking out the accounts! I need to read up more abouts the facts etc! What minimum charges they're allowed to charge etc!!!!

Hey who's taken away the link to my blog from my signature? I contacted Martin personally so he could look at my blog first and he said he was happy for me to have my link. I even had a pm from MSE Andrea to say I was being added to the approved links list so please put it back!

Anyway I wanted to say thanks to the MSE'rs for supporting me and checking out my blog. Last night my views counter went crazy!

I'd love some comments on the blog if anyone has time. Its very new and I need to know its an enjoyable read. I'm just in the middle of writing up my least expensive recipe. Its a cheesy pasta bake. I used to make this when we were struggling to put food on the table because of the money situation but now we are more comfortable with our finances I still make it because the kids love it and its very filling.
