Awww Lilibet that was fantastic... well done you!!

When you came on I was grinning like a cheshire cat and declaring "I know her!!"

They've asked me to do a section on soapmaking so maybe it will be my turn to be nervous soon, I hope I can pull it off like you!

  • Lillibet I thought you did great, you were really nice and clear...

I just went onto that website for the soapnuts and have ordered a free sample (just need to pay p&p so I did it through paypal for 75p) thought it worth trying the first...

    Thanks for the tip

The rest of the programme that I saw didn't really impress me, but then not much does on TV these days except Dr Who and Foyle's War :D

Gald it wasn't just me, then :o I'm not much of a TV watcher, so I'll probably stick to listening to Martin on Radio 4. It was all a bit hyper, and I couldn't follow the drainpipe bit at all

Lillibet - you were fab :A

Caterina - I saw you - you need to update your avatar - you're much more glam in the flesh :j

Martin missed a trick not having catowen as *The Comper*

AARRGGHH I can't believe I missed it!!! The boyfriend had just got in from work and I got totally distracted, I KNEW I should've set the DTR for it.

Is it being repeated by any chance? On 5 Life maybe?

Well done Lillipiut and thanks for the tip on soapnuts.:T
I found them on the web by accident last year but hadn't heard of them before so didn't order any.
I'll send for my free sample for a start..........haven't got paypal account so I'll send s.a.e.

Wish the programme hadn't been on commercial channel.........hate the adverts butting in and think it could have done without the competition chappie and paul daniels. The point still could have been put across
But all in all a good programme and worth watching. I always listen to martin on Radio 2, Jeremy Vine show when he's on.

We're with Npower and holding on till Martin says otherwise........I dont understand all this elec/gas thing, different tariffs, capped etc. It's a minefield to me.

Mortgage will be paid off later this year so I'll watch out for the fees there.

  • Well done lilibet :) I thought you were the star of the show...

Actually as a whole wasn't that keen on the show. Seemed to me to fall between two stones - it was trying to be all fast and flash to appeal to a younger audience (not entirely successfully :)) but all the topics covered were more likely to appeal to an older audience (and yes I mean me here) - eg mortgage redemption fees are unlikely to apply to you unless you're at least 30, most teenagers don't think about washing etc. And Paul Daniels, well most teenagers wouldn't know who he is. So why do it in the style of a teenage programme? Would be far better off in the traditional magazine Richard and Judy style if you ask me. And for various reasons I am something of a TV expert :)

If it wasn't for the oldstylers being on it I'm not sure I would watch again sadly....all a bit hectic for me.

  • Lillibet you were great!

You were so natural, laid back and confident. Thank you so much for doing it. I'm sorry you couldn't make it yesterday, it would have been great to finally meet you. Perhaps another time!

    Andrea :)

PS. If anyone knows of someone that they think would be perfect to go on the show to talk about a particular subject (the production guys are looking for a male OS'r at the moment) then give them a prod and tell them to email casestudy@moneysavingproductions.com if they'd be willing to go on with their daytime phone number and a few details of what it is they do.
