I'd be interested to hear how you get on. I did wonder myself if there's anything that can be put in place - a  kind of 'Block any switch attempt away from you unless it's on my say so!' flag sort of thing...

My switch completed on the 5th. £30 worth of Nectar points showed up today.

I to moved from PE to Sainsbury’s on the 7th Oct, as yet I have not been contacted by BG.

Only yesterday I messaged Sainsbury via face book and they have put a note on my account saying my account is not to be moved without my express permission.

Not sure if that actually means much but I’ll wait and see.

I may well try and contact BG to say the same, how easy that will be remains to be seen.

I should have updated this thread a couple of weeks back but I had to take a bit of a step back from all the forums and news outlets as all the constant doom and gloom was really getting to me!

Glad that your switch has gone through okay.
