Bulb - £1754 in credit!

I've recently discovered that I'm over £1700 in credit with bulb. I've been advised by an automated message that I can reduce my monthly direct debit (currently £140 per month) but when I try to do this it tells me my minimum needs to be £136.16 per month, so I'm not able to reduce my balance that way after all! I used to be with Bulb, their statements were one big mess corrective statements on corrective statement, biggest mess of energy billing I've come across, although they the end result appeared correct.
